      Has anyone had a patient report “ear fullness” with combo dabrafenib and trametinib or vemurafenib and cobimetinib? Pt describes it as feeling like her ears are clogged- but on exam, no wax and TMs look normal. She is quite bothered by it.

        I have not had patients complain of ear symptoms while on these agents. Lots of other side effects, but not this one! How will you manage this? ENT referral or ride it out?

          So- I had success with a daily cetirizine. It is possible she may have had a mild URI, or similar- but she experienced it both on dabrafenib + trametinib AND vem/cobi (which we needed to switch to for unrelated reasons).
