Mollie Reed is a nurse practitioner in the Sarah Cannon Research Institute Drug Development Unit of Tennessee Oncology, Nashville. In her position, she helps oversee referrals to phase 1 clinical trials, performs screening examinations, and manages patients in phase 1 (evaluating performance status, side effects of study drugs, and psychosocial implications of patient disease and treatment). She also helps manage the care of patients in phase 2 and 3 trials and on standard-of-care therapies. Mollie has extensive speaking experience and is an active participant in speakers bureaus, speaker training, advisory boards, and roundtables for the pharmaceutical industry. She is also a member of the Middle Tennessee Chapter of the Oncology Nursing Society (ONS) and has held several leadership positions in the organization, including co-president and board member. She has presented posters at the ONS annual congress and has published several journal articles. During her career she has also been invited to be a guest lecturer at Gilda’s Club Nashville and Vanderbilt University School of Nursing.
Mollie received her Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of Texas at Austin and her Master of Science in Nursing at Vanderbilt University.Leave a reply
